      The first compass I received had some scratches and initials inside the lid instead of the monogram I ordered. I called customer service, and received the new product the next business day! They went above and beyond to get my order out quickly and make it right! This is the second gift I have bought from them, and the quality shines!

      I have not yet heard from the recipient of this gift, so I cannot provide feedback on the appearance or quality of the product. However, I was very impressed with the customer service when my personalization request did not transmit with my order. I received a call to provide the information.       I purchased this compass for my grandson for Christmas, and I could not be happier! Great quality and very fast shipping. I selected to have my grandson's initials added to the compass, which I thought would be stamped. When I received my compass, I found that they are engraved, which makes this gift even better.       When the compass arrived, I was surprised at how beautiful and sturdy it was. Looks even better than in the pictures. I had an issue with engraving (before it shipped) and customer service was amazing. Very easy to work with. Fast turn around time too.

      My department procured these to present to our department's exceptional students at our annual Student Award Ceremony.
      They are beautifully crafted and the initials are a great touch. The students were overjoyed and commented how nice these looked. Definitely glad we found these!
      My only complaint is that the shipping may throw off the needle (banged around during transit) and it may have to be re-set. Initially, I thought it was broken and would need a replacement. Luckily, it's very easy to do this and works perfectly.
      Will re-order next year!

      My husband is a forester and I thought this gift would be a great piece he could either use, or simply place with the rest of his cherished findings/collectables.       I purchased this compass as a High School graduation gift. I loved the idea of a compass to signify "finding your way" for a future college student. It is beautiful. The wood is distressed to get the antique look, yet it is elegant. The engraving was perfect. I would definitely purchase this gift again.

      This reproduction of Captain William Clark's "Corps of Discovery" compass is very close to the original. It's basic shape and design fits compasses made in the 18th century by such makers as Nairne and Blunt, and very much like one in the Smithsonian attributed to a Rev War Captain McClellan.

      Overall, I'm very happy with this little guy and plan to use it in the woods (alongside my Silva until I can trust it completely!). It's got a lot going on if you're into history.

      I ordered the compass and two leather passport holders, very pleased with both, the compass is beautiful and the wood is even more beautiful in person. The passport holders are gorgeous really nice leather the package they came in was so cute and when I opened it the smell of new leather hit my nose and I was happy. Can't wait to use them. Was a little unsure when I ordered these wasn't sure they would be good quality, but they are. Overall very satisfied customer.

      I ordered two of these compasses for two different people and am very pleased with the product and presentation. I had them both engraved, and am pleased with the quality. Didn't like that I had to pay for shipping twice instead of having them both shipped in the same box (they would have easily both fit in one). Also had difficulty with FedEx on delivery.

      I had this personalized and sent to my son for his birthday. He has a new office/den with a somewhat nautical theme. He loved it and said it was esquisite. My son doesn't talk like that!
